Yoga Workshops

Our interactive yoga workshops are a combination of theory and practice. We cover a range of topics from asana, breathing, meditation to yoga philosophy and spirituality. Attending a workshop can bring context to yoga practice, helping you explore its many dimensions.

Our Upcoming Workshops

  • Pranayama and how to use breath, especially the exhalation to heal

    The Healing Breath

In yogic philosophy the breath is the carrier of prana or life force energy. The exhalation in particular can have a profound effect on our physiological and mental well-being. This 2 hour workshop takes a look at how we can enhance our ability exhale and release what we no longer need.

  • Yoga philosophy, spirituality and Patanjali's yoga sutras

Yoga Sadhana - An introduction to patanjali's yoga Sutras

This 2-hour workshop offers a small glimpse into the philosophy of yoga practice - based on the classical yoga text ‘Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras’. It is meant for those who are seeking to understand how to extend their yoga practice off the mat and into their lives.

  • Pranayama and meditation in the Krishnamacharya Yoga tradition

    Gayatri Dhyanam - Meditation Workshop

Mantra dhyanam or meditation, uses simple chants and visualisation to bring the mind to a state of clarity. This workshop will offer a brief overview of the Gayatri Mantra, and its spiritual significance. It also includes a chanting integrated, guided meditation practice to harness the power of the mantra.
